A. M. Naik

A. M. Naik is the Chairman & Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro, one of the largest conglomerates in India.

After joining L&T as Junior Engineer in 1965, Mr. A.M. Naik rose rapidly through its ranks; he became General Manager in 1985, and Vice President (Operations) and Member of the Board in 1989 (in charge of the erstwhile Group II, now bifurcated into E&C and Heavy Engineering).

In 1995, he was appointed President (Operations) and in April 1999, he took over as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. On December 30, 2003, he was appointed as the Chairman & Managing Director
