Founder of Jai Hind group of Publications Shri (Late) Babubhai Shah has started Rajkot edition of daily Jai Hind on this historical day, which is to be celebrated by number of politicians, Chief Ministers, Freedom fighters, and Congressmen of various parts of India in Ahmedabad on the same day.

Jai Hind - Ahmedabad edition was started during 26th January 1962 and commands a good net circulation in central and Northern Gujarat.

Jai Hind's evening edition SANJ SAMACHAR was established in 1986 and is very popular amongst the cities of Saurashtra – Kutch Region.
