Stocks like Reliance Industries (7.4%), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (6.3%), HDFC Bank (3.8%), JSW Steel (3.5%), Vedanta (3.2%), Maruti Suzuki India (3.2%) performed extremely well and closed with more than 3% gains. Axis Bank (2.8%), Hero MotoCorp (2.7%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (2.7%), Dr. Reddys Laboratories (2.5%), ICICI Bank (2.3%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (2.1%), UPL (2.0%), Bajaj Finance (2.0%) also closed with more than 2% gains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information Technology, Oil and some Auto and Cements stocks closed in red like Tech Mahindra (-2.9%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (-2.3%), IndusInd Bank (-2.0%), HCL Technologies (-1.9%), Tata Motors (-1.8%), Grasim Industries (-1.0%), UltraTech Cement (-1.0%), GAIL India (-1.0%) etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the volume front Bharat Petroleum Corporation (120.4%), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (97.1%), Reliance Industries (79.4%), HDFC Bank (68.6%), Dr. Reddys Laboratories (46.9%), Tata Motors (29.6%), NTPC (22.1%), Hero MotoCorp (17.7%), UltraTech Cement (14.1%), Vedanta (12.1% etc traded with more volumes compared to their 2 months average volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mant stocks recovered smartly from their respective day&#8217;s low like Reliance Industries (7.9%), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (5.8%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (4.4%), JSW Steel (4.2%), HDFC Bank (3.7%), Vedanta (3.6%), Dr. Reddys Laboratories (3.4%), Bajaj Finance (3.0%), Axis Bank (2.8%), Maruti Suzuki India (2.8%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some Major Drops Today are Tata Motors (-3.6%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (-3.6%), Tech Mahindra (-3.4%), IndusInd Bank (-3.1%), HCL Technologies (-2.6%), Coal India (-2.3%), HDFC Bank (-2.0%), Infosys (-2.0%) etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Indian stock markets performed very well today with both Nifty and Sensex closed with 2% gains.
