Top Gainers<\/strong> in the Nifty 50 : Mahindra (6.4%), Hero Motocorp (5.2%), Titan Company Limited (3.8%), Cipla (3.8%), Hcl Technologies (3.5%), Infosys (3.3%), Indian Oil Corporation (3.3%), Tata Consultancy Services (3.2%), Tata Steel (3.2%), Housing Development Finance Corp. (3.1%), Tech Mahindra (3.0%), Maruti Suzuki India (2.3%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (2.2%), Wipro (2.1%) and Larsen & Toubro (1.8%) closed today with reasonably good gains. Major Volume Gainers<\/strong> Today : Mahindra (102.0%), Infosys (68.2%), Hero Motocorp (55.1%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (45.9%), Tech Mahindra (30.7%), Itc (22.7%), Indian Oil Corporation (16.0%), Axis Bank (14.3%), Tata Consultancy Services (11.8%), Bajaj Finserv (10.9%), Larsen & Toubro (8.6%), Icici Bank (3.0%) and Hcl Technologies (1.3%) closed with better gains compared to their 2 months average volume respectively. Mahindra, Infosys and Hero witnessed surge in volume with 50% or more extra volume compared to 2 months average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Major Recoveries<\/strong> Today from Day’s low: (5.3%), Hero Motocorp (5.1%), Cipla (4.0%), Tech Mahindra (3.7%), Hcl Technologies (3.3%), Titan Company Limited (3.3%), Maruti Suzuki India (3.0%), Tata Steel (3.0%), Tata Consultancy Services (2.9%), Indian Oil Corporation (2.9%), Infosys (2.8%), Housing Development Finance Corp. (2.7%), Jsw Steel (2.3%), Itc (2.0%) and Eicher Motors (1.9%) recovered smartly from their respective day’s low value during the intra day trading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Major Drops<\/strong> Today from Day’s High : Axis Bank (-3.9%), Indusind Bank (-2.8%), Upl Limited (-2.6%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (-2.3%), Grasim Industries (-2.3%), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (-2.3%), Gail (-2.2%), Bajaj Finance Limited (-2.2%), Icici Bank (-2.0%), Vedanta Limited (-1.8%), Hdfc Bank Ltd (-1.8%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (-1.8%), Dr.reddy’s Laboratories (-1.6%), Hindalco Industries (-1.6%) and Bharti Airtel (-1.5%) dropped more compared to other Nifty stocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall it was a good market today with both indices managed to closed with more than 1% gains even though not much positive news globally and locally.
