🧭 Market Context (What to Expect)

Before jumping into trades, frame the day correctly.

  • Recent sessions have shown range-bound behavior with sudden breakouts
  • Volatility remains moderate, not extreme
  • Key drivers:
    • Global cues (US markets, crude oil)
    • Institutional flows (FII/DII activity)
    • Expiry-related positioning (if applicable week)

👉 Expect either:

  • A slow morning → strong directional move later, OR
  • A fake breakout → reversal day

So the plan must be flexible, not biased.

⏰ Pre-Market Routine (8:45 AM – 9:15 AM)

This is where most traders fail—they enter without preparation.

What to check:

  • SGX Nifty trend (gap up / gap down / flat)
  • Asian markets direction
  • Top news (banking, IT, global cues)
  • Previous day:
    • High
    • Low
    • Close

Mark Key Levels:

  • Previous Day High (PDH)
  • Previous Day Low (PDL)
  • VWAP (once market opens)

These levels will control your trades.

📈 Watchlist for April 28

Focus only on high liquidity + high movement stocks:

  • Banking stocks (HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI)
  • Index movers (Reliance, Infosys, TCS)
  • Index itself:
    • Nifty 50
    • Bank Nifty

👉 Don’t track too many stocks. 3–5 is enough.

🔥 Opening Strategy (9:15 – 9:45 AM)

This is the most dangerous time. Avoid random entries.

Scenario 1: Gap Up Opening

  • Wait for pullback
  • Entry only if:
    • Price holds above VWAP
    • Strong bullish candles form

👉 Trade:

  • Buy above opening range high
  • Stop Loss: below VWAP

Scenario 2: Gap Down Opening

  • Watch for panic selling → reversal

👉 Trade:

  • Buy if price reclaims VWAP
  • OR short if breakdown continues below PDL

Scenario 3: Flat Opening

Best scenario for clean trades.

👉 Trade:

  • Breakout of:
    • Opening range high → Buy
    • Opening range low → Sell

📊 Core Intraday Setup (Works All Day)

Breakout Strategy

  • Entry:
    • Above resistance (with volume)
  • Stop Loss:
    • Below breakout candle
  • Target:
    • 1:2 Risk-Reward minimum

VWAP Strategy

VWAP = intraday “fair price”

👉 Buy:

  • When price bounces from VWAP in uptrend

👉 Sell:

  • When price rejects VWAP in downtrend

Reversal Setup (Advanced)

Only take if experienced:

  • At strong support/resistance
  • With rejection candles

🎯 Index Trading Plan

Nifty 50

  • Above PDH → bullish momentum trade
  • Below PDL → bearish continuation

Bank Nifty

More volatile → better for quick trades

  • Strong move after 10:30 AM usually
  • Follow banking stocks confirmation

⚙️ Risk Management (Non-Negotiable)

This is where consistency comes from.

  • Risk per trade: 1–2% of capital
  • Max trades: 3–4 per day
  • Stop trading after:
    • 2 consecutive losses

👉 Golden rule:

Protect capital first. Profit comes later.

🧠 Psychological Plan

Intraday trading is 80% mindset.

  • No revenge trading
  • No overtrading
  • Accept losses quickly
  • Follow system, not emotions

If market feels confusing → stay out

⏳ Best Trading Time Windows

  • 9:30 – 11:00 AM → Primary moves
  • 1:30 – 2:30 PM → Secondary setups
  • Avoid: 11:30 – 1:00 (low volume zone)

📌 Sample Trade Plan (Example)

  • Stock: HDFC Bank
  • Setup: Breakout above resistance
  • Entry: ₹X (above breakout)
  • SL: ₹X-10
  • Target: ₹X+20

Simple. Mechanical. No guessing.

🚫 What to Avoid

  • Trading without levels
  • Entering in the middle of range
  • Holding intraday trades overnight
  • Following tips blindly

🧩 Final Game Plan for April 28

  • Start slow → observe first 15–20 minutes
  • Trade only clear setups
  • Focus on quality over quantity
  • Exit when target/SL hits—no hesitation
