Most of the largecaps and nifty 50 stocks are in red with stocks like infratel, pel, adanitrans, adaniports, tatasteel, pnb, zeel, indigo, jswsteel, ambujacem, bankbaroda and grasim closed with more than 3% loss. Stocks like bajaj auto, whirlpool, torrent pharma, hdfc life, nmdc, sbi life, hdfc amc and tcs closed with more than 1.5% gains.
Overall a negative day for market with nifty closed with .45% loss and sensex closed with .31% loss even though markets recovered marginally in the afternoon trade.
