General Insurance Corporation (GICRE) was the leading stocks in the large caps with 6.8% gains followed by Bandhan Bank at 4.7%. After good Dec quarter result infosys up by 4.5% with heavy volume. Coal India, DLF and IndusInd bank were up by more than 3%.
In midcaps HAL, NIACL, Prestige, OFSS, Tata Comm, Edelweiss, Alkem, Bhel, Ab Capital, Tata Global, Lic Housing Fin, RBL Bank, Manappuram and NIIT Tech up more than 3%.
In small cap stocks Redington, Tv18 broadcast, Polymed, Birla corporation, sharda crop, vipinda, shobha, chennai petro and IRB closed with good gains today.
